What I love most about her work is her incredible attention to detail and ability to bring out the best in what you envision. In her portfolio you will see a variety of different design themes - from traditional to ultra modern, but in each of them the attention to detail is incredible; they say design is the summation of many small but important decisions that come together, and Karen is the master of making this work. This is especially important in a kitchen where you want it to be not only beautiful but functional - the placement of a handle matters just as much as what it looks like. Finally, Karen is a joy to work with. She is flexible and kind, and knows how to bring out the best ideas from her clients and stay true to their vision without pushing her own agenda. She understands that it can be an overwhelming and expensive process to recreate a space and works with you to meet your timeline and goals. At the same time she works to make the process fun; her love and mastery of design is contagious. I can't wait to work with her again.
Virginia, Magnolia, MA: Karen transformed my kitchen from a difficult area to use, to a spectacularly well functioning and aesthetically magnificent space. She also helped me with my bathroom renovation, even though this was not a part of our kitchen contract. Karen was extremely available, her language with my tradesman helped adjust a difficult space with brilliant ideas to overcome the limitations of an old building.
